Well done to Freya Smith in P6/7 for winning the JRSO Competition last week! We had to design a poster to encourage drivers to slow down on Bo’ness Road and drive at 20mph. She had a brilliant poster with the slogan “Bo’ness, No Mess” – well done, Freya!
In Echline, children and adults are working together to recognise and act upon the rights of the child. (UNCRC) This Convention is a comprehensive human rights treaty which enshrines specific children’s rights in international law. It contains 54 articles which children learn about in assemblies and in the classroom.
When children understand their own rights, we believe they will then appreciate and respect the rights of others.
All learners have contributed to their class charter.
