This week, Primary 4/5 had a busy week learning about bridges before partaking in a momentous trip to the newly built Queensferry Crossing. Along with other P4’s and P5’s, we had the opportunity to mix up the three classes for some cooperative learning. One of the activities they took part in was a STEM challenge to build a bridge using straws.
Everyone showed excellent team work and built some fantastic bridges.
On Tuesday, we were all very excited to finally have the chance to cross the Queensferry Crossing. We were amazed by the scale of the new bridge and enjoyed the unique experience that was given to us.
We even had the opportunity to meet Martin from Newsround!
