We have had a fantastic day at The Royal Highland Show. There was so much for us to see and do. Have a look at the pictures to see a taster of everything we got up to. We had lots of fun and would like to thank all the parents and staff that came with us.
Thank you to everyone who helped bake and bought cakes today at the Primary 2 bake sale. We were raising money to buy a new coop and food for the Echline chickens. We managed to raise a massive £147.40! I’m sure the chickens are going to love their new home.
We have had the best week. Today, we got to experience a yoga session. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. We also got a visit from some Hopetoun rangers who taught us how to make a seed bomb which we planted in the school grounds. We also got to take one home to plant in our own gardens. It was very messy but lots of fun.
On Monday 29th May it was Sports Day. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed all the events we got to take part in. There was football dribbling, shot putt, hammer throw, egg & spoon, volleyball, obstacle race, skipping, sprinting and more! There were flat races too and we got to race everyone in our year group. Our parents came to cheer us on which was great. Everyone did extremely well and showed excellent sportsmanship. A big WELL DONE to Evie Scott-Angell who won the P2 girls flat race.
