On Thursday 25th August, P6/7 had their first class trip! We visited the Dazzle Ship at Ocean Terminal and the Bridget Riley exhibition at the National Gallery of Modern Art.
We revisited our learning from last term’s Dazzle Project and learned how to sketch the ship in different ways. We also learned about famous Scottish women because of women’s roles during WWI, and had the chance to use our creativity skills!
In the afternoon, we had a tour and discussed Bridget Riley’s paintings. We also got the chance to explore pattern and create our own op art.
It was a fantastic trip and a great start to the year!
